What We Value
Our core values define what’s important to us here at Plus Education
As an international, multicultural organisation, diversity is no less than essential to our work. We respect, celebrate and nurture our many differences, recognising that these differences make our organisation stronger and our programs more effective.
Most fundamentally, we value education, both as a means to unlocking potential and as a pathway to better opportunities. Our commitment to the education of children on the margins is the driving force behind all that we do at Plus Education.
We are committed to developing the confidence, skills and capabilities of children, teachers and our staff. We encourage and support participatory decision-making and ownership across all levels, both within our organisation and in our partnerships.
We hold ourselves to a high moral standard. We are deeply committed to truthful, transparent and ethical communication and conduct, and we actively encourage openness and accountability within our team.
As an organisation, we choose to focus on the positive every single day. We are committed to bringing energy and enthusiasm to our work and relationships, and we strive constantly to support and uplift those around us.
We have a strong commitment to innovation informed by knowledge. We make every effort to continuously improve what we do and how we do it, recognising that we’re only as good as the work we did yesterday.
Plus Education is the group operating name of registered Australian charity, 40K Foundation Australia Ltd, and its subsidiary organisations, 40K Plus Education in India and Cambodia.
