We are delighted to announce the renewal of our partnership with the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS). The renewed three-year partnership will see our flagship PLUS English program rolled out to an additional 260 lower-secondary and primary schools in Cambodia by mid-2025. More than 78,000 children are expected to benefit, in addition to over 10,000 children who have already participated in our program to date.
“We welcome this continued partnership with MoEYS as part of our shared commitment to minimise skills gaps and to prepare the children of Cambodia for future employment and participation in the digital, global economy,” said Plus Education CEO, Swetha Prakash.
“Ensuring equitable access to quality English literacy education and digital learning, particularly for children in rural and remote areas, will improve the educational outcomes of these children and increase the opportunities available to them as adults.”
Schools will also benefit through subsidised technology and devices and improved teaching capacity. An estimated 520 teachers will be trained by Plus Education’s in-country team to effectively manage a technology-enabled classroom. They will also learn how to interpret and respond to learning data to best support the individual learning needs of their students.
We are incredibly excited to continue our partnership with MoEYS, whose support has been instrumental to our growth and impact in Cambodia. Learn more about our work, and stay updated by signing up to our newsletter.
